SCHOLARSHIPS
There are many opportunities for students to receive scholarships to be used for education-related performing arts expenses, and other enrichment opportunities.
In order to encourage equal access to performing arts educational opportunities at OPRFHS, regardless of ability to pay, APPLAUSE! provides scholarships to defray the cost of required performing arts fees including, but not limited to:

marching band camp

"pay-to-play" fee

tuxedo rental

instrument rental fees

music lessons

acting classes

Need-Based Scholarships

Any student enrolled in a performing arts curricular class

Demonstrated need as per Eligibility Requirements specified in the APPLAUSE! Scholarship Policy, as part of the application.
Scholarship amounts are awarded at the discretion of APPLAUSE! and are dependent upon fund availability.
APPLAUSE! College Scholarship

The $1,000 APPLAUSE! Performing Arts Scholarship will be awarded to a member of the class of 2020 who has been active in performing arts at OPRF, maintained a 3.0+ GPA, and is planning to major or minor in performing arts. Details and application information will be available via the OPRFHS Scholarship Foundation early in the Spring 2020 semester.
